PM Narendra Modi has given a call for the people to clap for the services of health workers who are heroically fighting the deadly virus. But, B-town Superstar Amitabh Bachchan had changed the whole meaning of the purpose and posted a superstitious tweet on coronavirus pandemic.
Amitabh claimed that Amavasya has the evil force at its maximum and making noises like clapping hands and clanging utensils at 5 pm on 22 March may help to eradicate any virus or bacteria.
Actually this is a WhatsApp message that circulated all over social media. Many people including Amitabh has also shared it through their twitter handle. Since Amitabh holds the highest number of followers, the tweet went viral within seconds and the netizens have countered him with brutal trolls.
The people have outraged on him for his irrational thinking and blindly suggesting these superstitions to the people. With the opposition among the people, Amitabh has deleted his tweet from his handle to avoid further controversies.
