Netizens Troll 'Dasara' For Its Resemblance With 'Pushpa'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Oct 2022 5:51 AM GMTMaking a film on similar storylines is not a new thing in Tollywood. But two movies having the same kind of looks for its lead actors along with having a similar rustic rural backdrop will surely get a lot of attention from the public. The same is happening with 'Pushpa' and 'Dasara' now.
As we are aware, the pan-Indian hit film 'Pushpa' which came in December 2021 was set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in the Chittoor area. Allu Arjun sported a very rural look in this film. He grew long and messy hair along with thick beard. His dressing was also quite natural as his clothes were jaded most of the time in order to suit the character.
Similarly, Nani is coming up with 'Dasara' which is set in the rural backdrop. Nani will be seen as a daily worked in the Singareni area and the makers revealed his look long back. Looking at the glimpse, one can clearly see the similarities between Nani's role and Bunny's 'Pushparaj' character in terms of appearance. The first song 'Dhoom Dham Dostan' also got a good response but his rugged look in an orange shirt with open buttons and lungi has an exact resemblance to Bunny's look in 'Daako Daako Meka' with minor changes.
The look of Keerthy Suresh has been released on Monday and she plays 'Vennala' in this movie. The poster shows her joyfully dancing in a yellow saree. Her look is not just similar to 'Srivalli' role in 'Pushpa' but also to the character 'Samantha' played in 'Rangasthalam'.
With all these striking similarities hitting your face, the netizens are coming up with funny trolls claiming that 'Pushpa 2' is coming earlier than expected but with the title 'Dasara'. Nani's fans on the other hand are hoping that the story and screenplay are different to Sukumar's film and it impresses the audience big time.
Odela Srikanth is helming this project which is made under 'SLV Cinemas' banner by Sudhakar Cherukuri. Popular Tamil composer Santosh Narayanan scored the music and Naveen Nooli is the editor while Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the director of photography. The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Zarina Wahab are the important cast of the film.
