Keerthy Suresh is one of the popular heroines down South now. The actress has been working hard currently to make an impressive mark in Bollywood too. With Mahanati, Keerthy has become the most sought-out actress in South India.
The actress made her debut with the film Nenu Sailaja in Telugu. Ram played the lead role and the film also marked the directorial debut of Kishore Tirumala. Interestingly, the film was originally offered to Niharika first before they approached Keerthy.
During the promotions of Suryakantham, Niharika revealed the same stating that the makers approached her for the heroine role. Niharika, unfortunately, had to decline the offer as she did not convince her parents to become an actress then.
By the time Niharika's parents got convinced about her becoming an actress, the project went to Keerthy Suresh. Niharika said, 'The makers waited for almost a month for me but things did not work well and I could not say a YES to them.'
