Nithiin Pinning High Hopes On OTT Audience

Nithiin is the only Telugu hero to have two theatrical releases this year. However both his films, namely Rang De, and Check failed at the box office. While Rang De managed to put up okayish numbers at the box office, Check was a complete washout.
Now, Nithiin is pinning high hopes on his upcoming outing, Maestro which will be out on Disney+ Hotstar on the 17th of September.
Nithiin didn't taste any success with his theatrical releases this year and he will be pinning high hopes on OTT audiences as Maestro is premiering direct on Disney Hotstar.
Maestro is a remake of Andhadhun and it has a plot that predominantly caters to digital and urbane audiences. So, going for direct OTT release is indeed a smart move from Nithiin. But will the move actually pay richer dividends by impressing OTT audience? We have to wait till the 17th of September to know the answer.
