Nithiin's 'Rang De' Does A Decent Pre-Release Business!

Releasing on 26th March, this film has Keerthy Suresh playing the lead and has many well-known characters artists doing important roles. Written and directed by Venky Atluri, the songs which released till date brought a decent buzz and the trailer has already succeeded in impressing the audience.
With no other big release this weekend, Nithiin is aiming to score a good hit on 26th as he missed doing it with 'Check' last month. The pre-release business of 'Rang De' was decent and it is reportedly a bit higher than 'Bheeshma'. Apparently, the theatrical rights of 'Rang De' is the Nizam area were sold for 7.2 crores while it was 3.6 crores in Ceeded region. It was given for about 10 crores in Andhra area. On the whole, it did a theatrical pre-release business of 20.8 crores.
While the rights for rest of India were sold for 2 crores, the overseas rights were given away for another 2 crores which makes it a total of around 25 crores. The advance bookings are a bit slow as per sources but since it is a long weekend with the Holi festival coming up, the film is expected to do decent business.
