Nithin Father behind Akkinenis Manam

Akkineni Trio ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya thought of doing a film together 3 years ago. On one fine day, Nithin's father Sudhakar Reddy called up Nag to say there is a story that suits Akkineni Family. Both ANR and Nag liked the story of 'Manam' narrated by Director Vikram Kumar (Ishq fame) and the project went on floors after spending 1 year on script work.
After watching 'Manam' with Amala and Naga Chaitanya at his residence, Nagarjuna feels it will be a landmark film in his career just like Shiva and Geethanjali. Even ANR who saw the movie while dubbing was really happy with the outcome.
Although Akhil wasn't part of 'Manam', Nagarjuna used to call him to the sets as he gets the opportunity to see ANR acting in his last flick. All the family members used to pose for group photos on the sets after the end of day's shoot.
Nagarjuna feels Naga Chaitanya matured a lot as an actor after watching the comedy sequences between the Youngster and ANR in the movie. The entire family is eagerly waiting for May 23rd!
