Akhil Is A Lifetime Shock: Nithiin

Hero Nithiin is one of the few heroes in Tollywood who reached a landmark of 25 films. Apart from acting as a hero, Nithiin also tested his luck as a producer with Akkineni Akhil debut film 'Akhil' but the movie turned out to be a huge disaster. In a recent interview, Nithiin opened up about 'Akhil' failure.
He said "Akhil is a lifetime shock for me. After Akhil, I couldn't properly sleep for two-three months. We did our best for the film but we made a mistake somewhere. It happened. It is the greatest mistake in my life. I felt bad not because we lost money and reputation.. I felt bad because it was Akhil's debut film. Had it been his second or third film the situation would have been different. We would have thought that flops are common. But we got a huge shock because it's his debut film. It took two-three months to come out of the shock."
When the anchor reminded of the reaction of Vinayak that it was their bad time that they liked the story, Nithiin said "Yes. It was our bad time. Even Vinay garu felt so bad at the result. We know flops are common but the failure pained us because we couldn't deliver a hit to Akhil on his debut."
Talking about his future project with Akhil, "We are good friends. I will surely produce a film with Akhil in future and deliver a hit to him. If a get a good story I will do it. I may produce his film after two-three years."
