Nithya Rejects Basavatarakam Role

NTR biopic in the combination of Nandamuri Balakrishna-Teja is one of the crazy projects in Tollywood now. Pre-production is going on in full swing and the director Teja is taking all the precautions to make it a memorable film in Balakrishna's career.

One of the tough aspects of the making of a biopic is the casting of suitable actors. Unlike regular films, a biopic requires good actors and they should resemble the original characters. Teja is not compromising on casting suitable actors. He approached Nithya Menen for the crucial role of NTR's wife Basavatarakam. Nithya reportedly expressed her interest to act in the film initially but the latest buzz suggests that she has rejected the offer for the unknown reasons.

As Nithya rejected the offer, Teja started scouting for another actress for essaying Basavatarakam role. He has ample time to finalise the heroine as the regular shoot will commence later this year.
