Nizam area has huge importance when it comes to Tollywood movie collections. The success or failure of a film depends on the Nizam collections. But the majority of the Nizam area collections come from Hyderabad and its surroundings. Collections will not be that great from the rest of Nizam.
Three distributors are ruling the distribution business in this area where B,C centers are more. These three are unitedly handling the theater distribution in this area. Even though they appear to be different from one another in theater distribution to the outsiders, they are giving theaters to their near and dear and they are not allotting theaters to others. We can understand the situation of film trade in Nizam, as a single distributor released three films that were released in the last week.
If a producer wants single theaters in Hyderabad area, one has to visit the offices of these three distributors several times patiently. If they want theaters in Hyderabad, they are linking it to the business in another area.. and this has become a worrying factor for the producers. Whatever be the case, elders in the film industry are commenting that there is nothing we can do about it because the three distributors are having a good time now. We have to wait and see whether elders in the government will focus on this issue or not.
