Struggles Behind 'Queen Remakes' Release

Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Queen' movie became a blockbuster in Bollywood. It is known that the same movie is now going to get remade in 4 South Indian languages with 4 different heroines.
The Tamil version 'Paris Paris' is featuring Kajal Agarwal as the female lead. Milky beauty Tamannaah is going to is playing the lead role in Telugu version of the film titled as 'That is Mahalakshmi'. Initially, Neelakanta directed this project but he backed out and the makers have roped in 'Awe' fame Prasanth Varma to be the director of this film. Manjima Mohan is starring in the Malayalam version whereas Parul Yadav is starting in the Kannada version. It has been a long time since the movie went on sets but except for the teaser and a couple of singles, no other update about this movies came out. The audience have been waiting for the release of the films but the makers haven't even started the promotions yet.
On the other hand, Tamannaah who recently scored a blockbuster with 'F2: Fun and Frustration' is also awaiting the release of 'That is Mahalakshmi'. Some are commenting that the movie should be released soon before the audience will lose the interest on the film.
