No Engagement For Alia & Ranbir. Says Randhir!
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Dec 2020 7:26 AM GMTEver since Ranbir Kapoor told Rajeev Masand that the wedding would've been sealed had the pandemic not hit their lives, the entire Bollywood is eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to get engaged. Recently, the lovely couple were spotted at the Jaipur airport along with Ranbir's mother Neetu.
Rumours immediately flew around that Ranbir and Alia are getting engaged in Ranthambore. It was all over the internet and Ranbir's uncle Randhir Kapoor has to come over and give clarity over this news. He said, 'It is not true. If Ranbir and Alia were to get engaged today, my family and I would have also been there with them. Ranbir, Alia and Neetu have gone there for holidays and to bring in the new year. The news of their engagement is incorrect.'
He stated there went there just for vacation. Alia was also a part of the Kapoor family's Christmas celebrations and Ranbir spent time with the Bhatt's for another celebration. Alia and Ranbir's relationship came into light during the reception of Sonam Kapoor's wedding in 2018 and they have been open about it ever since.
They both will be seen together in ‘Brahmastra' directed by Ayan Mukharjee and produced by Karan Johar. This gigantic film is expected to come out in 2021.
