By: Tupaki Desk | 12 May 2020 2:36 PM GMTIn the wake of coronavirus, the film shootings across the country are shut by overnight. Even the films which are in the final stage are abruptly stopped. Recently, the governments of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka has given a relief to the film industry by giving permissions to the filmmakers to resume the post-production formalities within the state.
The Tollywood has also expected the same decision from the Telangana government, but TSFDC Chairman Ram Mohan Rao said to a leading English daily that the government directed TSFDC to not carry out any post-production works until May 29.
The Filmmakers in Telangana are hoping that CM KCR will show a kind gesture towards them and changes his decision after the review meeting on May 15.
Earlier, the bigwigs of TFI had met Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav to discuss the same.
