No other option left for Rajamouli and RRR

The makers of RRR had previously announced the dual release slot model. "If the pandemic situation in the country gets better and all theatres open up to operate at full capacity, we are ready to release the film on 18th March 2022. Otherwise, RRR Movie will release on 28th April 2022" the film's official social media handle tweeted a long while ago. But that is not the case now. The film has locked one single release slot and that is 25 March. The other day, the makers announced that the film will indeed be releasing in theatres worldwide on the 25th of March. And this could well be one final release plan for the magnum opus project helmed by Rajamouli.
RRR fell prey to the Covid outbreak several times already and there simply is no going back anymore. The makers had spent a whopping amount of money on the project already and there is too much at stake to go for another postponement. The distributors and buyers had already spent a humongous amount of money on the project and the interest amounts for the same will be skyrocketing with every passing day. This will be the main factor in the final release slot for RRR.
The makers and the buyers had already lost a lot of money on the promotions and the interest amounts will just keep piling up with every passing week. So, the April release window, which was announced not so long ago is not a viable option anymore. Those involved will be losing every time RRR gets postponed or delayed and that is the reason why the makers have opted to go ahead with the March release slot regardless of the Covid situation at that point in time.
So, as things stand, RRR will indeed be arriving in theatres on the 25th of March no matter what as there is a lot at stake this time around and even a month's delay will end up costing the buyers a whole lot of money. So, as things stand, 25th March is the final release window for RRR, and there will be no changes in this regard until and unless theatres shut down completely and the Covid situation completely goes out of hand.
