No Pedarayudu without Rajinikanth!

'Pedarayudu' is a landmark film in Telugu Film Industry. The film which took Box Office by storm completes two decades Today (June 15th, 2015).
On this occasion, Mohan Babu shared few untold facts about the milestone movie. "Without Rajinikanth, 'Pedarayudu' wouldn't have happened. One fine day, I met Rajinikanth and he then asked me to watch a Tamil film 'Nattamai'. I saw it and told him it was a good film. Then, Rajini asked me to remake the movie in Telugu. I obtained the remake rights and Rajini came forward to play the role of Paparayudu when the script discussions were going on. When I asked what's the need to do such a small role, Rajini said he doesn't bother about such things and showed me his get-up for the role even before the shooting began. One day, He has brought money with him and told me - 'Idhi Unchu...Panikosthay'. He neither demanded remuneration for the role nor did I offer him money. What I have offered and what he accepted is something very personal," he shares.
Mohan Babu reveals he is going to play the lead role in a film directed by Srinivas Reddy. Details of the project will be announced soon.
