Director Mahi V Raghav told he focussed mainly on the padayatra of YS Rajasekhar Reddy for 'Yatra'. He claimed to have sincerely attempted to showcase the greatness of YSR. 'There is no necessity to show someone in bad light to glorify an individual. People knew about YSR and his Padayatra. This movie is all about the change in YSR because of Padayatra. There won't be Chandrababu Naidu's role in our movie,' clarified the Filmmaker.
For Anasuya's Character, Inspiration was taken from Sabita Indra Reddy and Two Others Women Leaders. Few cinematic liberties have been taken to make the content appeal to the people.
Mahi V Raghav honestly admitted he lost judgement on the biopic because of continuously working on it for the past 18 months. He claims to be waiting for the people's verdict on the release day.
