No Tollywood Director Is Ready To Work With Kollywood Star

After heroes like Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Ajith etc, the Kollywood star hero who also has a massive fan base in Tollywood is Suriya. After the grand success of his 'Gajini' movie, so many Tollywood directors tried to do a straight Telugu movie with him.
But at that time, Suriya was in search of a script that is as strong as 'Gajini' and has rejected a bunch of films. But, he has accepted some disastrous movies in Tamil. They also got released in Telugu and ended up as flops at the box office. After scoring a series of debacles, Suriya's recent movie NGK garnered positive pre-release buzz and got released recently. But not only in Telugu, the film became a disaster even in Tamil as well. NGK failed to even make collections of 5 crores at Tollywood Box Office. Though director Selvaraghavan is also a known director in Tollywood, the film failed to grab the attention. As per the latest reports, Suriya has some plans to work with a Telugu director for a straight Telugu film.
But now no Telugu director is showing interest in working with him. It is evident that Suriya has to score some decent hits and prove his stamina to gain more offers. On the other hand, his upcoming movie 'Kappaan' is slated to hit the screens soon.
