The implementation of demonetisation and the manner in which Centre preaches cashless economy without taking necessary measures is drawing criticism from all the quarters. Even Celebrities have been breaking their silence over the issue.
Renu Desai took to Twitter to question, 'How does one pay for essentials if all lines of communication r down in a cashless economy?Not all cash is blackmoney I feel! #cyclonevardah'.
When a follower told her PM only said Less Cash Society not Cashless, Renu retweeted the statement of Narendra Modi, 'Called for increased cashless transactions & talked at length about how they will reduce corruption & black money in society'.
Soon after withdrawing cash from bank, Renu Desai shared a Rs 100 note and asked why the margins have completely changes from that of old ones. She also enquired if all the new notes were coming out in such a manner.
