Not So Encouraging Signs For Nag's 'The Ghost'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Oct 2022 12:35 PM GMTTill a few weeks back, it was King Nagarjuna's 'The Ghost' which created decent buzz with its trailer and making videos. But the pre-release event which was held in Kurnool did not generate the required buzz and even the release trailer too failed to get the required attention. The focus has completely shifted towards Megastar's 'Godfather' as he is giving interviews and releasing special videos regularly on social media. His speech amidst the rain in Ananthapur generated a lot of buzz on 'Godfather' and team is making sure that the movie is in the news most of the time.
Due to this, the advance bookings of 'Godfather' are reportedly quite good and 'Swathimuthyam' is also doing good pre-release business considering its scale. But it is Nag's 'The Ghost' which is not looking great in terms of advance bookings as per reports. Nagarjuna usually arrives during the festive seasons with commercial or family entertainers. But he is arriving with a complete action film in the form of 'The Ghost'. It is not a regular commercial movie and the trailer makes it clear that it is filled with loads of action and bloodshed. There are people who say that Nag's film is failing to attract the family crowd whilst the youth is more interested in Chiru's film.
With Nagarjuna's film not getting connected to the audience till date, the advance bookings are not that encouraging according to analysts. We need to wait and see what happens in the coming few days prior to the film's release on 5th October.
Sonal Chauhan who appeared as Nagarjuna's subordinate offered a glamor feast along with taking part in some kickass action sequences. While Gul Panag played Nagarjuna's sister, Anikha Surendran appeared as his niece. Directed by Praveen Sattaru, Cinematography is handled by Mukesh G, wherein Brahma Kadali is the art director. Dinesh Subbarayan and Kaecha are the stunt directors. Mark K Robin who is an expert in scoring music for action and thriller movies deserves special mention for his background score. This project is bankrolled by Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment Banners.
