'NOTA' Collections Shocked The US Box Office

Vijay Deverakonda has a massive fan following in the USA as well. He raked some memorable numbers with his previous flick 'Geetha Govindam'. But his recent movie failed to recreate the same magic.
The opening collections of 'NOTA' are very low. The collections failed to take a hike from the second day as well and 'NOTA' is much-likely to end up as a disaster. Vijay Deverakonda’s debut as a hero 'Pelli Choopulu' made $1.2 million at the US box office. His sensational hit 'Arjun Reddy' raked $1.7 million and 'Geetha Govindam' became the highest grosser with $2.4 million. All the three were blockbusters in the USA and made big profits to the distributors. The premiere show collection of 'Geetha Govindam' itself made a whopping $400k. On the other hand, his latest political drama 'NOTA' made $300k in two days including the premiere shows which is really shocking and disappointing considering Vijay's huge market.
On the third day, the movie earned a gross of $48,249 from 124 locations making its total gross as $304,820. As there are no chances for the collections to get a hike now, the movie will end up as a disaster. Vijay’s image and popularity were dented in the overseas market only because of 'NOTA'.
