High Court Approached To Stop NOTA Release

Hurdles for 'NOTA' kept growing as the Release Date is approaching. Producer Kethireddy Jagadeswar Reddy had already complained to Chief Election Officer Rajath Kumar about the alleged objectionable scenes in the political backdrop flick. The other day, Congress Leaders demanded Election Commission to stall the release of Vijay Devarakonda-starrer till the completion of Assembly Polls in Telangana.
Today, OU JAC Leader Kailash filed a Public Interest Litigation in the Hyderabad High Court objecting the usage of 'NOTA' as title of a feature film. He brought to the notice of the High Court that obtaining necessary permission from EC prior to the usage of 'NOTA' is a must.
The Petitioner sought Election Commission to watch 'NOTA' and ensure that objectionable scenes are removed as Election Code came into effect in Telangana since the dissolving of the Assembly prematurely. He opined such a political backdrop flick could influence the voters ahead of the Assembly Polls.
This Petition would come up for hearing in the High Court Tomorrow. What could be the fate of 'NOTA'?
