A biopic being made on legendary actress Savitri by young director Nag Ashwin is gaining momentum. While rumours are there that Nitya Menen almost agreed to star in titular role, here comes others stuff.
In most films, Savitri paired with the then stars like Akkineni Nageswara Rao and NT Rama Rao. They all have grown up together in films and later these two have a different fate awaiting while Savitri ended up penniless and died in miserable situation.
Probably if Jr NTR and Naga Chaitanya takes up those roles, budgets will got up, but still the film will get some sort of authenticity, isn't it?
Also that will be fitting and perfect tribute to Savitri if they take up those roles. Let's see.
