We don't have a problem with someone calling a person as their God! Many do that as they feel they are indebted to a person for life. Or because they love them beyond limits which shows their devotion towards him or her.
There is difference between fans and fanatics and devotees too. Fans are those who love you unconditionally, fanatics who show that love in extreme ways even affecting others and devotees are those who say no other exist for them.
Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao are first Telugu heroes to have such fans, fanatics and devotees. But NTR seems to have them within the family too.
More than ANR or any other hero, he is called GOD, because he portrayed Lord Rama and Lord Krishna roles for most part of his career on screen. Also, his family and his devotees made it their daily routine to call him GOD for political benefits and out of pure devotion.
They can do it all in private as much as they like. But they seem to have brought it upon the public with NTR biopic. There are six songs in both the films, Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu, composed by M.M.Keeravani.
All seem to praise NTR as GOD than elevate the emotions. They seem to trust that for everyone else too he should be a God or God equivalent. Isn't it too much to ask for?
