NTR Biopic Is A Bigger Lesson For All!

Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao is a big star in Indian Cinema and also the early Superstar of Telugu Cinema. We cannot discount the kind of pull ANR had to call NTR, India's First Superstar like NTR biopic makers and in Tamil, Hindi there were bigger stars than NTR before he started his journey on-screen.

So, calling him the India's First Superstar is a big lie and an elevation that the makers wanted to give to NTR, even though his films that stood the wrath of time can really talk for themselves.

This is the kind of fabrication that NTR team employed to follow Mahanati style and drama for their NTR biopic. NTR is known for being an aggressive person and not a man to mince words.

His silence used to terror many and hence, he could gain the name, "Anna garu" like MGR who is called, "Anna" in Tamil Nadu.

The kind of film, a biopic should be, is written like a bible to follow, by Mahanati maker Naga Ashwin, who made his second film. Even Yatra, picked up one incident and tried to show how it changed its protagonist, a political leader as a people's leader, YSR.

But Krish, who is far more experienced decided to fill up the movie with star cameos. He did not set up the story or carry the emotion as he should have in both the films.

In TV series, you can indulge in details but in Film, one needs pace and big time emotion needs carry as well. Baahubali had emotions and many characters that are new, hence a 2 part set up paid rich dividends.

Here, NTR is pulling force and a one part movie with all details, even the negatives of NTR should have been discussed rather than hiding uncomfortable things and making it all seem a wikipedia page detail.

With NTR Biopic team lead by NBK, Krish and Keeravani left a lesson for other makers to learn about how not to make a biopic, clearly which wasn't their intention to start with!
