NTR who was the chief guest for the audio launch of 'Mahanati' told he don't have the stature to talk about Savitri's dignity or greatness. 'She is a real Lady Superstar. I have to go in search of words to speak about her. I don't know where to start and where to end. This film is about how she lived rather than how she died. Learning about the lives of achievers is a necessity. They have presented the life of a great actress in front of our eyes. One can understand how much Nag Ashwin admires Savitri….he made this movie as a Fan. When you plan a great thing, everything will fall in place…that's why Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha and Vijay Devarakonda were part of this project. Though great people might have left us, We could still experience their greatness. Watching this team, I get the feeling that Savitri herself choose each one of them,' he opined.
Regarding NTR role in 'Mahanati', Tarak disclosed: 'I heard about it many times from the media. One fine day, Swapna Dutt approached Me to essay the role of My Grandfather. But, I said I don't have the stature or guts to be like him on the screen. Hats off to Keerthy, Sam, Dulquer and Vijay for essaying real life characters'.
NTR recalled Swapna Cinema was launched with 'Student No.1'. He claimed to be shocked to see the banner make such a prestigious project.
On a finishing note, Jr said: 'We are hearing about the atrocities on women a lot these days. Upon watching this movie, Every Male would question themselves why were we born as a Man.
