Rang De Makers In Talks With A Popular OTT Platform

The shooting of Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh's upcoming film 'Rang De', directed by Venky Atluri, is underway in Dubai. The teaser and first single of the film were out and impressed the audience. Touted to be a romantic comedy entertainer, Rang De is aiming to hit the screens on the occasion of Sankranti 2021.
There were good expectations on this movie before the pandemic. The makers initially planned the release the film for Summer 2020, but at such a time the pandemic came and changed their calculations. We know that many films released on OTT platforms amid the closure of theatres in lockdown.
Now, the offers have started from OTT platforms for Rang De. However, the makers of the film are not quite satisfied to lock the deals. The producers expect Rs 38 crore for all kinds of rights as the last price. Zee TV, which is in a key bargain, is offering up to 35 (all rights included). Producers Sithara Entertainments have been in talks with Zee TV for the past few days on this regard. As per the reports, the makers may close the deal shortly. More details are awaited.
