Old Issue Haunts Bollywood Star, Court serves Summons!

Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan, one of the Khan trio is among the leading stars in the business. Thanks to his loyal fanbase, almost all his films make it big at the box-office run. Salman Khan's hit streak had started with Wanted, the official remake of Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Pokiri, and the streak is intact to date.
This is just one side of Salman Khan. The other side of the star hero is that he is not new to controversies and he finds himself in one or the other controversies. An old issue had come to haunt him as he was summoned by the court.
Going into details, a court in Maharashtra's Mumbai is said to have served a summons to Salman Khan and his bodyguard on the grounds of an alleged Criminal Intimidation Case against a Journalist. The issue traces back to a few years.
The journalist had filed a case a few years back against Salman Khan and his bodyguard and the issue had come up for hearing recently. The Metropolitan Magistrate court heard the petition and served notices. The next hearing in the issue was posted on the 5th of April.
In the summons, the Metropolitan Magistrate had directed the two accused Salman Khan and his bodyguard Nawaz Shaikh to appear before the court on the prescribed date.
Tracing back the details of the case, the issue is believed to have taken place in 2019. When Salman Khan was cycling, the media papped him and tried to click his pictures and the journalist who had moved the court is one of them, reports say.
The journalist did not have a pleasant experience as his mobile phone was snatched and Salman Khan reportedly had an argument with him. Unhappy with this, he had filed a case with the cops and even moved the court.
On the work front, Salman Khan has lined up multiple projects which are in various production stages. His upcoming films include Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Tiger 3. He will be seen in a cameo in Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather. Salman Khan was recently welcomed by Chiranjeevi to the sets of Godfather.
