RGG-2 is an emotional horror comedy ...

Ohmkar, the popular anchor turned director has made it a point that he delivers a good funny horror comedy before and he wants to continue with the "spirit" comedy in the sequel with a different story and stellar cast like Nagarjuna Akkineni and Samantha Ruth Prabhu Akkineni. Vennela Kishore, Ashwin Babu and Praveen are the other cast members. Ohmkar talked to media about the movie, that is scheduled for a release on 13th of October.
He said, "I am more interested in making a movie that will further my cause as a director. So, I made a movie like Raju Gari Gadhi-2 which will be a family entertainer with a cast like Nagarjuna and Samantha. They agreed to be a part of the movie as soon as they heard the narration. First, I wanted to make a movie with Venkatesh and then the story was different. After meeting PVP, I decided to go ahead with a different take on Pretham and approached Nagarjuna."
He continued, "I am fortunate that he accepted to be a part of my movie and when I told him the story, he said, "You are my boss now, I will listen to you now." He showed complete faith in me and I think this will be a good repayment of that. I made a movie considering all sections of audiences and I know, they all will enjoy it. The movie is laced with with good comedy and emotions with a simple message to top it all."
