Earlier, Noted character artiste Sonu Sood showed his generous gesture by offering his Mumbai restaurant to be used for relaxation for doctors, nurses and paramedical staff who working round the clock battling the deadly virus.
Now, Sonu is again winning the hearts by feeding nearly 45,000 homeless people in Mumbai's Andheri, Bandra, Juhu, and Jogeshwari areas every day during the lockdown. Sonu has set up 'Shakti Annadanam' to feed the needy.
While talking about this, Sonu said, "Some of us are blessed to have food and shelter in these tough times, but there are many who have not had meals in days. To help them, I've started a special food and ration drive, Shakti Annadanam, which is named after my father. I hope I am able to help as many people as possible."
