As a rare development, former Lok Sabha member YV Subba Reddy was appointed as the TTD chairman for one more time. The Andhra Pradesh government had decided to give one more chance to Subba Reddy, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's uncle.
The two year tenure of YV Subba Reddy had ended in June this year, a lot of reports emerged on how he will be rewarded by the party after this.
However, the ruling party had opted to reappoint YV Subba Reddy as TTD Chairman. We rarely see any person getting back to back chances to hold the TTD Chairman post.
Earlier, media reports are abuzz that YV Subba Reddy might get elated to any House under the nominated posts category. But the new announcement had proved all the reports wrong.
