Only 30% Investment recovered: Lingaa Distributor

Singaravelan, Trichy-Tanjore distributor for Lingaa, told he and rest of distributors in Tamil Nadu have recovered just 30% of their investment. He acquired the Trichy-Tanjore distribution rights of 'Lingaa' for Rs 8 crore. By the end of 3 weeks run, He garnered Rs 4.47 crore gross and the share is around Rs 2.5 crore.
The Distributor accused 'Lingaa' Makers of conning the buyers by giving assurance that the film be better than 'Narasimha' and 'Robo'. He also revealed plans to hold a one day hunger strike along with other distributors in Valluvar Kottam, Chennai.
