Only Composer To Not Use Sid Sriram Till Now!
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 March 2020 11:01 AM GMTThe name Sid Sriram has become a brand and he is the most happening vocalist in South India right now. Despite the singer's incapability to pronounce some words properly, his deep voice earned him a lot of fans in Telugu. He got huge fame from songs like 'Inkem Inkem Kaavale', 'Maate Vinaduga', 'Undiporaadhe' and recent 'Samajavaragamana'. It has become mandatory for our composers to give him a song in their album.
It was AR Rahman who introduced his magical voice to us. Then other composers like Mani Sharma, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Gopi Sundar, Anup Rubens, and Thaman made him sing for them. It is a fact that some small films like 'Hushaaru', 'Raahu' and others got popularity just because of the songs he crooned for.
When the entire industry is running behind him, there is one composer who did not use him till now. He is none other than rockstar Devi Sri Prasad. The energetic composer brought a lot of new voices to Tollywood but he is somehow showing zero interest in working with Sid Sriram. He is finding ways to give hit tunes with Sid's voice. Nobody knows the exact reason behind it. Did DSP find nothing special in Sid's voice? or Is he not catching up with the current trend?
