NTR Kathanayakudu became a huge disaster and to add to it, even Vinaya Vidheya Rama ended up losing 25 to 30 crores for distributors.
With such flops, buyers are not showing confidence on a film like Yatra whose trailer looks promising and has a respectable actor like Mammotty.
The movie Satellite rights and digital rights have gone to good amounts but theatrical rights are not going for a rate, as high as expected.
Even the buyers are not that enthusiastic towards the movie. Mahanati did work out being a biopic but NTR Kathanayakudu scared many by being a disaster that lost Rs. 50 crores.
