OTTs Gearing Up To Provide Wholesome Entertainment This Week!

The scope and canvas of the OTT platforms have changed massively post the Covid period. Movie lovers started owning the OTTs as they became their one-stop destination for everything when the theatres were shut due to the Covid fear. The OTTs also saved the makers by taking movies that could have ended up as box office duds.
The OTTs are also planning the releases well so that they get good numbers in views. The platforms are gearing up to offer good entertainment this week. As many as four films will be streaming this week across the platforms. The platforms have oped for weekend releases so that the viewers will get glued to the platforms.
Rocketry:
Actor Madhavan will start the show on OTTs this week with his recent outing Rocketry. He played the lead role and helmed it. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect takes us into the life story of the legendary aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation Nambi Narayanan, who was wrongly framed in a case. What struggle he faced in the case and he came out forms the man crux of the story.
Good Luck Jerry:
The Kapoor heroine Janhvi Kapoor who shot to fame with her debut film Dhadak was last seen in Roohi opposite Rajkumar Rao. However, the film could not get a good response. To try out of her comfort zone, Janhvi opted for a dark comedy crime film Good Luck Jerry. The Kapoor starrer will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar from the 29th of this film. Good Luck Jerry is the official remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila. Lady Superstar Nayanthara played the lead role in the original film.

The Rakshit Shetty starrer is one of the much-awaited films. Since it was announced, the adventure comedy-drama film was carrying high expectations and the film reached the expectations. The makers beautifully showed the unconditional love between a dog and a man. Those who could not watch the film in theatres can now watch it on Voot as the film will be streaming from the 29th of July.

Talented actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen acting together is the major reason behind the hype around the film. Disney+ Hotstar grabbed the rights and the film opted for a direct OTT release and 19(1) (a) will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar from 29th July.
