The 63 national awards was announced recently and National award for the Best Actor has went to Big B Amitabh Bachchan for his performance in the Bollywood film 'Pikku'. Fans across the world expressed their joy that their favourite actors and technicians had been chosen for the honour.

On the flip side some people are expressing displeasure for not recognizing efforts of their favourite actors. Tamil hero Vikram is known for his intense performances, with his work often fetching critical acclaim.

Vikram had appeared in four different looks in his last film "I" and his fans hoped his efforts would win him the Best Actor Award. But there was no luck for Vikram in national awards. This has not gone down well with the fans of the Tamil actor, who have shared their displeasure on Twitter. Interestingly, one of India's top cinematographers, PC Sreeram, too expressed the same sentiment.

P.C. Sreeram has expressed his disappointment through his twitter handle. He tweeted, "Congrats to each (and) every winner of this years national awards. We r proud of each one of u. Best wishes.'

He further added, "No award for vikram (kenny). Sorry the nation awards many times misses its point. Its not vikrams loss its loss to the national awards." (sic)

The actor has earlier won a National Award for his performance in "Pithamagan"(Shivaputrudu in telugu). Vikram is only the third actor to receive a National Film Award for Best Actor in the Tamil film industry.
