Kollywood sensational Director Pa. Ranjith has applauded the sincere efforts of Telugu Director Karunakumar for the film 'Palasa 1978'.
He has shared his note of appreciation in a tweet on his Twitter handle which said- "Palasa1978, One of the very important movies from the Telugu film industry. It is very bold, raw and very clearly discussed Dalit perspective. I appreciate the movie a lot hopefully; more films will be coming in the future. Congratulations @Karunafilmmaker".
It is evident that the small film 'Palasa 1978' was hugely appreciated for its content and many film lovers appreciated the efforts of debutante Director Karunakumar for this bold societal drama.
On the other side Pa. Ranjith is one film maker who tries to provocate the thought system of Dalits through his films like "Madras", "Kabali" and "Kaala". He can be said as the true successor of R Narayana Murthy who has directed films for the sake of public all these years.
