Tamil Director Pa. Ranjith directed only two movies and got the golden chance to helm Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' movie. The movie turned out to be a disaster, but Rajini gave him a second chance by doing 'Kaala' movie under his direction which also became a flop.
When everyone thought that it would be the end of his film career, a popular production company came forward to give him a big offer. Apparently, the big production company is planning to make the biopic of Silk Smitha into a web series and asked Pa. Ranjith to be the director.
Silk Smitha was one of the most iconic actresses in the 80s. She acted in more than 450 films in a very short span. Despite doing the vamp roles, she used to have more fan following than the heroines of that era. A few years ago, Vidya Balan starred in 'The Dirty Picture' which is loosely based on the story of Silk. However, they haven't shown more about her but added fiction.
