Paagal Beauty Wants To Do Glamour Roles

Nivetha Pethuraj, who is playing the leading lady in Vishwak Sen's Paagal said she wishes to act in more diverse films in the future. She even expressed her interest in doing more glamour roles in the foreseeable future. The dusky beauty commented that she is waiting for filmmakers to pen more such roles for her as she wishes to try something new henceforth. She even added that she is fed up with playing serious roles in all her films and says she has no qualms about doing glamour roles.
"It is true that I have been starring mostly in serious films. All my characters are as such. I am only getting serious roles and yeah, I am vexed with playing such roles as things have started to turn monotonous. I wish to try something new. I would like for filmmakers to come up with quirky roles for me. I am even ready to play glamour roles, but only if the script demands. I am waiting for such roles to come knocking. I will most certainly take up such projects," she said.
When asked why she looks to be serious even when she steps out in public, Nivetha said she is a jovial person by nature but she somehow ends up sporting serious expressions while she is out in the public. "I am not that serious of a person in real life. I crack jokes and am lively when around the ones close to me. But there's a change in demeanour once I step out. It is not a conscious effort but I have to deal with it,' she said.
Nivetha says she is really eagerly waiting for Paagal which will be out in theatres on the 14th of this month. "I cried the first time I listened to the script. It has so much emotional depth. The way the director Naressh handled the subject and executed it is exquisite. I feel glad to have played Theera, the female lead in the film."
Paagal stars Vishwak Sen and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles and it is directed by debutante Naressh Kupplili. The film will be out in theaters on 14th August.
