No Trouble For Padmaavat In Pak!

'Padmaavat' had a tough time with censor and release in India. The makers had to deal with the Karni Sena protests and the ban imposed by four states. Supreme Court lifted the ban imposed by the state governments and asked them to provide security for the theaters which are screening 'Padmaavat'.
There were violent protests in states like Rajasthan and Haryana even after the release. Considering all these things many people doubted that the movie will have a tough time in Pakistan as well. Springing surprise to everybody, Pakistan censor board cleared the film with a clean -U certificate. The censor board members of Pakistan watched the film along with a reputed professor in History from Quaid-e-Azam University for the expert opinion. The professor named Wakar Ali Shah told them that there were no distortions in the film, and the censor cleared the film.
The distributors of 'Padmaavat' in Pakistan were relieved with the Censor board's decision because they had apprehensions that censor might raise objections over the portrayal of Alauddin Khilji role. As the makers got clearance, they will soon release the film in Pakistan.
