No Entry For Padmavaat In Malaysia
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 Jan 2018 5:33 AM GMTAfter undergoing many controversies, the film Padmaavat finally saw the light on 25th of this month. Within the four days of the release, the movie collected 100 crore rupees and surprised everyone. The film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. Even today, the Karni Sena is trying to protest against the film's release in the country.
The latest update is that the makers are planning to release the film in the other countries. In the process, they applied for the censor screening of the movie in Malaysia, but we have found that the Malaysian government was hurt. The Censor members of Malaysian board have felt that the film touches the sensitive things related to Islam and portraying the religion in a bad light to a more significant extent,
The Muslim-majority country might not be able to accept the film, and hence they decided to ban the movie. But, the irony was that Pakistan Censor board cleared the film's release.
