Trailer Talk: Indian Superhero 'PadMan'

The wait is finally over. Keeping to an end to the fan's wait makers of Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie PadMan has released the official trailer of the film. The lead actor Akshay Kumar himself unveiled the trailer on social media. He took Twitter as the platform and captioned "Presenting the much awaited #PadManTrailer, this one's for the mad ones, the ones who are crazy enough to change the world" and tagged his costars.

The trailer features Akshay Kumar as an Indian superhero 'PadMan'. The 2 minute 24 second video starts with Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan giving the narration that PadMan is India's answer to all the American superheroes. Akshay's character in the film works on creating a sanitary pad and tries it himself about leakage issues.

The trailer also has some humor and is hinting that the film is a comedy entertainer. The movie is entirely shot with village backdrop. Interestingly, the film is based on a true story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the man who invented the low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural area. The film is helmed by R. Balki and is gearing up to hit the theatres on January 26th.
