Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial 'Padmavati' has been banned in five Indian States so far amid threats. Makers have postponed the release from December 1st after CBFC turned down the application seeking certification citing inappropriate filing. Now, The Producers have come up with a plan keeping all the threats and hurdles in mind.

Reportedly, 'Padmavati' is being insured for a whooping Rs 140 crore. Distributors could claim as much as Rs 80 crore if the screening of the movie gets affected in any case or film lovers are unable to watch the film in theatres.

Any damage caused due to attacks, riots and weather conditions will be compensated. However, The insurance will only come into effect post the theatrical release. Investors can't claim compensation for ban imposed by any of the state governments.

Actually, British Board of Film Classification has already cleared the uncut version of 'Padmavati'. But, Makers want to release the film in UK only after obtaining Censor clearance in India.
