The troubles of Sanjay Leela Bhansali mayn't end anytime soon. This Bollywood Filmmaker has been targeted ever since he began shooting for his ambitious project 'Padmavati' starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
In January this year, Activists of Karni Sena manhandled Sanjay Leela Bhansali and vandalized the set while shooting was happening at the Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur. On Monday night, Some miscreants have burst the set of 'Padmavati' to ashes at Kolhapur in Maharashtra.
Protesters suspect Sanjay Leela Bhansali might have distorted the facts for Box Office. Speculations are abuzz that an objectionable scene between Rani Padmavati and Allauddin Khilji is being included in the script. Following the attacks, The Acclaimed Filmmaker issued a statement clarifying there is no such sequence in his project.
