Pahlaj Nihalani has become famous with his famous Sanskari remarks and also became the most controversial CBFC chief ever. He tried to make a statement with all his decisions and even when the makers ran a big revolt against him, he stated that he is running a Government Certification body and for him, it is required that he stays within the rule books and see that only good films are allowed to be seen by the appropriate audience.
Right now, he is no longer the CBFC chief and he is showing his own rule book of Sanskaar. He is presenting the movie, Julie-2, the latest movie of Raai Laxmi which is coming as an erotic thriller. In the trailer released lately, the movie projects the cinema Industry is filled with vultures who are forcing the young girls who want to become actresses to sleep with them and compromise for the roles.
In the entire duration. Raai Laxmi seems to have worn only bikini and skimpy clothes. Even in some scenes she is half-naked and the camera follows her body to expose her private parts as well. When asked about it, Pahlaj said, " I did my job as the chief of CBFC and tried to follow the rules with utmost honesty. Now, let me do my job as the producer." He is also demanding that the movie should get an A certificate without cuts. Isn't this a show of double standards??
