Till a couple of years back, no one knew who Prasanth Neel was. Leave alone the national audience, even the Kannadigas were unaware of this director's potential. He unleashed the beast inside him with 'KGF Chapter 1' which shocked everyone. The way he presented his hero in this film was loved by everyone.
Rocky Bhai turned into a national sensation and Prasanth's name echoed all over South India. Many thought that the first chapter happened by luck and he proved them wrong with 'KGF Chapter 2' which hit the screens in April. This gigantic action flick went on to collect more than 1100 crores and conquered the Indian box office. He became one of the most sought after filmmakers in the entire country now.
After a highly successful 'KGF' franchise, he is currently working with pan-Indian hero Prabhas. The movie is titled 'Salaar' and there are huge expectations on it as anyone would expect. It is Prasanth Neel's birthday last night and it was celebrated grandly. The event was attended by his 'KGF' hero Yash and his upcoming 'Salaar' hero Prabhas. They both are seen having a great time together at the party along with a few other known celebrities.
Other than 'Salaar', he even announced another film with NTR as the lead. This project will take some time to kick start as Prasanth is currently busy with 'Salaar' while Tarak is yet to start his project with Koratala Siva.
'Salaar' is a complete action flick which is expected to hit the screens next year. Shruti Hassan is the heroine while Jagapathi Babu plays a vital role. Ravi Basrur is the composer while Homebale Films are bankrolling this project.
