Mega Director to remake Industry Hit
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Sep 2016 6:40 AM GMT'Sairat' has become an Industry Hit in Marathi Film Industry by grossing over Rs 75 crore. Nobody might have anticipated a film made with a shoestring budget of Rs 4 crore would create such a sensation. While the lead pair became overnight stars, Director Nagaraj Manjule garnered Nationwide fame.
Producer Rockline Venkatesh has bagged the remake rights of 'Sairat' all the four South Indian Languages. Director Parasuram who made a comeback with 'Srirastu Subhamastu' will helm the Telugu version.
Buzz is that Brahmanandam's Son Gautam would be playing the lead role. If this reports were true, Gautam can't ask for a better film to establish himself in the Telugu Film Industry. Particularly, Parasuram knows how to bring out the best from Young Heroes and he makes good use of their strengths. So, The combination looks more than perfect on the paper.
Its still not known whether the Telugu version will be dubbed in other South Indian Languages or the role of Parasuram & Gautam will be confined to the local language. An official announcement from the Makers would clear all the doubts.
