Director Parasuram achieved his biggest commercial success with 'Geetha Govindam'. He, however, had to wait for months to obtain the consent of any of the Star Heroes. Initially, There were reports of Allu Arjun okaying the subject narrated by Parasuram but it was proven false. Thereafter, Allu Aravind took the responsibility to ensure everything falls in place.
Mahesh Babu okayed the storyline narrated by Parasuram and asked the Filmmaker to approach him with a bound script. Allu Aravind would bankroll this project on Geetha Arts banner if the script shapes up well.
Post the back-to-back failures in the past few years, Mahesh Babu began offering more importance to the script than director. That is why he rejected even Sukumar's project after a blockbuster like 'Rangasthalam'. So, It's going to be a challenge for Parasuram to get the consent.
Mahesh Babu will shoot for Anil Ravipudi's flick after 'Maharshi'. Parasuram has go plenty of time for the script work as Prince could shoot for another flick only in 2020.
