Padmavathi Needs their Clearance
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Nov 2017 11:46 AM GMTRani Padmavathi of Chittorgarh might not have even anticipated in his wildest dreams that her successors will protest a movie about her sacrifice and the war between Khilji and her husband. In any case, a huge uproar against the movie has been in order by many Rajput clans and Karni Sena against the release of the movie.
Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhashali received dead threats and publicly few have announced crores for their heads. Looking at the situations, Punjab, Rajasthan have asked Censor board to watch he movie soon and allow the agitators to watch it as well. Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh have banned the movie and Gujarat Government too decided to not host the movie.
Supreme Court took the case against the movie and declared that Censor board will decide on the authenticity of the movie. As the protests in support of the film have also begun, a Parliamentary committee has been constituted to decide on the film's authenticity with history and also, decide if it should be allowed for public exhibition. Sanjay Leela Bhashali has repeatedly said that he did not distort the facts and Parliamentary committee has to finally decide and clear the film. Let's see if the movie will be allowed for screening at least for the hard work put in by team and actors.
