100 crore share for a Telugu film appeared to be an impossible task before the release of Bahubali. Even though Bahubali has shown the true potential of Telugu movie market, other star hero films are not comparable to Bahubali due to the content and its reach. No other film could touch 100 crore share till now except Bahubali. It appeared to be an impossible task. But Megastar Chiranjeevi's re-entry film Khaidi No.150 simply did the unthinkable.
It has collected 70 crore share in less than a week of its release and racing towards 100 crore share. Khaidi has proved that if a highly anticipated film offers minimum content, it can do wonders at the box office. With Khaidi's staggering collections at the box office, Tollywood film makers and buyers got the confidence that 100 crore share is not an impossible task.
Interestingly Chiranjeevi made 100 crore share a simple task for the Super Powers like Mahesh and Pawan who are considered to be the next to Chiru in terms of image and fan following. It is known that Mahesh Babu's next film is directed by AR Murugadoss and the pre release business is expected to be around 150 crore considering the film is a Telugu - Tamil bilingual. On the other hand Pawan - Trivikram film is also carrying huge expectations, so the pre release business will be more or less the same.
Going by the Megastar's Khaidi collections it is clearly evident that Mahesh & Pawan will surely shatter the existing records with their crazy projects.
