Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati who are coming together for the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum have breezed past the mid-way mark. They have wrapped up over 50% of the film's shoot already. The makers are currently filming a few important scenes at specially erected sets in the Aluminium factory, Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan and Nithya Menen, who play the lead pair in the film are taking part in the ongoing schedule. The bulk of the talkie portion featuring the lead pair will be wrapped up in this schedule.

Meanwhile, the makers have started promoting the film already. They had recently released a making video of the film and it went viral on digital platforms. They had even announced that Pawan Kalyan plays Bheemla Nayak, a powerful cop in the film and even gave a brief glimpse of his look in the film. They have been unveiling noteworthy promotional material in a timely manner and that is building good buzz to the film much ahead of its theatrical release.

The remaining portion will also be shot at a brisk pace in the next few months. Rana will be joining in a little while later to shoot for his combination scenes with Pawan Kalyan. These confrontational scenes will stand as a major highlight of the as yet untitled social drama that is directed by Sagar Chandra. The makers had already announced that the film will be out in theatres next Sankranthi season. The film is slated for release on 12th January next year. It is known that the Pawan Kalyan and Rana starrer will be locking horns with Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Radhe Shyam, which will also be releasing next Sankranthi.

The makers had also revealed that the first song from the film's audio album will be released very soon. It is heard that the song will be released on 2nd September, marking Pawan Kayan's birthday. Trivikram is providing the screenplay and dialogues for the much-hyped social drama that is being funded by Sithara Entertainments. The film will also feature Aishwarya Rajesh in an important role. She will be seen as Rana's wife in the film.
