Bigwigs in the Industry used to come together only for fund-raising events meant to help the victims of Cyclones or any other natural disasters. The last time people have seen all of them under one roof was for Memu Saitam after Hudhud Cyclone in Visakha.
Finally, Tollywood Bigwigs have took part in a meeting held at Annapurna Studios on Tuesday by taking a break from professional commitments for few hours. Needless to say, This meeting is meant to give a strong message to print and electronic media.
Media Honchos assumed Pawan Kalyan's revolt against them doesn't have much impact. To their shock, The gutsy stand taken by Powerstar to boycott media houses inspired Bigwigs in the Industry to take a firm call. Within hours after the Producers Council meeting, Leading Heroes in the Industry have met to discuss and this is something which didn't happen in the recent decades.
After PK's revolt, Media Houses have almost stopped holding debates targeting any Film Personality or Film Industry. Reports of Industry's non-cooperation to News Channels has been sending shivers down the spine of Media Honchos. Most of the credit for all these counter-actions from the Industry goes to none other than Powerstar. No Media House would dare to corner Pawan Kalyan anymore unnecessarily from now onwards. It's a huge victory...isn't it?
